Elie Hoffman has worked in the field of early childhood education for over 20 years as a teacher, director, mentor, and educational leader. She is passionate about creating schools where children feel deeply known, educators feel supported, and families feel connected and confident in their child’s experience. At Kinder Gan Aventura, Elie provides leadership oversight and guidance in the areas of school culture, educational quality, teacher support, family experience, and overall program development. Her focus is helping ensure the school is built with intention, consistency, and a strong foundation for children, families, and educators alike.

LEAD TEACHER (FOUNDING CLASS) – KINDER GAN AVENTURA

Kinder Gan Aventura is an early childhood program currently in development, G‑d willing opening August 2026. Rooted in Chabad values and inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, Kinder Gan is being intentionally built as a warm, joyful, and thoughtful environment that nurtures the whole child.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Teacher for our founding class who is excited to be deeply involved in building a new early childhood program from the ground up. This role is both a classroom teaching position and a meaningful opportunity to partner in shaping the educational vision, learning approach, and foundational practices of Kinder Gan Aventura. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, eager to grow with a developing school, and interested in taking on an increasingly influential educational leadership role over time.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Serve as the Lead Teacher for Kinder Gan’s founding class
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences
  • Support children’s growth through observation, documentation, guidance, and intentional interactions
  • Apply your professional experience and educational expertise to help build and shape the educational framework of a new preschool from its earliest stages
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to develop classroom routines, learning environments, and daily rhythms aligned with Kinder Gan’s values and educational philosophy

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in a Reggio Emilia–inspired early childhood setting
  • Deep passion for children and early childhood education
  • Strong understanding of child development and play-based learning
  • Warm, reflective, and collaborative teaching style
  • Interest in leadership, initiative, and growing into a larger educational role within a developing program
